On Tuesday we made Native American headdresses at work. When someone asked me what the Story of Thanksgiving was, I embarrassed myself by talking a lot about Christopher Columbus and forgetting to mention the pilgrims.
But there are also many things to rejoice:
- Beatriz and banana bon bons
- Mr. and Mrs. Miscellaneous never fails to deliver satisfaction and giggles
- My mom bought a Praise Dance DVD in China and practices openly in our living room
- I won 1 out of 5 times playing Sequence, a game that strains both minds and friendships
- Fantasia 3 times in 48 hours
- Reinaldo buying a book titled How We Die and us making fun of that
- Seeing and touching a beautiful article of clothing and having enough willpower to refrain from buying it!
- Old friends.
- La Vic’s at an unhealthy hour
- Kirstie next to me in bed, shivering and being dramatic even though I made her hot tea and it’s warm in here.
